The front collar is designed to be round, giving it a soft look.

The back of the collar is embroidered with a matching life jacket, flag, and anchor that match the skirt from the same series.
Another subtle point is that the colour of the embroidered ribbon matches that of the ribbon brooch attached to the tie.
The lines of the collar, bib, and turned-down cuffs add a marine feel.
The picot lace on the placket, collar, and turned-down cuffs also adds an accent.

We recommend pairing it with a skirt from the same series for a refreshing marine look, but it also looks great with a pleated skirt or shorts for a student-like or boyish look.
